Meet Rosalinda: the wild orchid of the village!
This illustration is inspired by one of the funniest stories I heard growing up. Rosalinda was a neighbour in the village, a true free spirit. She loved playing boleros, throwing her windows wide open and bathing naked in a tin basin - much to the horror of the other ladies in town!
To me, she has always been the original wild orchid — unapologetic, colourful and full of life. This drawing was born from her essence: vibrant, musical and delightfully rebellious.
