This piece is inspired by my great-grandmother, Obdulia, who emigrated from Spain to Argentina at the age of ten. The countryside where she lived was filled with the flowers that appear in this illustration.
I never met her, but I’ve always felt a deep and special connection with her. This artwork is my humble tribute - a way of honouring her by letting her story flow through my hands and onto the page.
